Originally introduced in 1995, the brand disappeared for years before making a limited-edition return in 2024 in support of the Navy SEAL Gold Star Program. Now, Gold Star has officially earned its place back in the lineup as a regular-production cigar, featuring an entirely new blend designed to respect its heritage while delivering a deeper, more modern smoking experience.

Crafted at the renowned Tabacalera William Ventura factory in the Dominican Republic, Gold Star combines an Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper from the Quevedo region with an Indonesian Sumatra binder. Inside, a carefully selected blend of Dominican ligero, Criollo ’98, Corojo ’98, and U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf fillers brings layers of complexity and character. With a greater emphasis on ligero and Broadleaf than its predecessor, the new blend delivers increased richness and depth without sacrificing balance. A full year of post-roll aging allows the components to come together seamlessly.

Medium in strength and generous in flavor, Gold Star opens with notes of cedar, leather, earth, and warm spice, gradually building toward a rich finish accented by subtle dark sweetness. It’s a refined yet flavorful profile that reflects the craftsmanship behind every cigar.
