Description
The newest vitola to join the Goldie line, the La Palina Goldie Prominente, a 6 1/2" x 48 is most accurately described as a grand corona. Similar to the other sizes in the line, the La Palina Goldie Prominente uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Ecuadorian Binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The filler also includes medio tiempo tobacco, a higher priming leaf that grows at the top of certain tobacco plants. Produced in 10-count boxes and limited to 300 boxes, the La Palina Goldie Prominente is made at El Titan de Bronze in Miami, Florida. The La Palina Goldie Prominente is a master-crafted medium-bodied cigar with notes of wood, spiciness and an underlying sweetness that cannot be beat.
