San Cristobal Cigars
San Cristobal cigars debuted in 2007 as a Nicaraguan-made release from Ashton Distributors. Handmade in Estelí, Nicaragua, by the Garcia family, these cigars showcase the power and complexity associated with premium Nicaraguan tobacco. The original San Cristobal features a lustrous dark Cuban-seed Oscuro wrapper over premium Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, which are allowed to develop deep, captivating character. It continues to attract enthusiasts who appreciate full-bodied intensity and refined construction.
At Corona Cigar Co., we carry a selection of San Cristobal cigars in various vitolas to suit your smoking preferences. Whether you're seeking the original blend or the sophisticated Quintessence line, you'll find authentic cigars at competitive prices.

The San Cristobal Series
Our selection includes two distinct expressions, each delivering the robust profile for which San Cristobal is known.
San Cristobal
The core line showcases dark Cuban-seed Oscuro wrapper leaves selected for their oily sheen and rich color. Beneath the wrapper, Nicaraguan tobacco from Estelí and Jalapa regions creates layers of dark chocolate, espresso and black cherry punctuated by walnut and black pepper notes. The full-bodied smoke finish is potent yet balanced, demonstrating Garcia's blending expertise.
Popular vitolas include the Classico robusto for a shorter smoke, the Supremo toro for a longer session and Papagayo XXL for extended enjoyment. These cigars pair exceptionally with double espresso, aged rum or Islay Scotch to complement the intense flavors.
San Cristobal Quintessence
Quintessence features a shimmering Cuban-seed wrapper and aged Nicaraguan tobaccos for a medium- to full-bodied profile with notes of cocoa, coffee, molasses, and spice. This expression emphasizes depth and refinement while preserving San Cristobal’s bold character. The Epicure, Robusto, Churchill and Majestic sizes showcase consistent construction and even burns that dedicated rollers achieve through years of practice. Quintessence appeals to smokers who want San Cristobal's distinctive profile with enhanced sophistication and a smoother finish.
