Hooten Young Gothic Serpent

Hooten Young Gothic Serpent are hand-rolled in the United States by artisans with generations of experience. They feature a blend of aged Nicaraguan binder/filler tobaccos and an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper. The Gothic Serpent are medium-bodied but packed full of flavor. The creamy nuttiness mixed with the leather and spice will leave your palate wanting more. The Hooten Young Gothic Serpent is the perfect balance of strength and flavor while keeping a razor-sharp burn.

The story behind the name “Gothic Serpent” is a very interesting one. U.S. Forces were ordered to capture Somali warlord, Mohammed Farah Aidid, along with high-ranking members of his faction on October 3rd, 1993. It was called ‘Operation Gothic Serpent’. Less than 200 Rangers held off thousands of Somali militiamen. By the end of the 18-hour firefight (which was only supposed to last an hour), U.S. Forces ended up with 70 wounded soldiers, 2 Black Hawk Helicopters lost, and 19 men who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
