Charter Oak Maduro
The Charter Oak from Foundation Cigar Company features tobaccos from the Connecticut River Valley which is located in the home state of owner Nicholas Melillo. The name comes from a historical tree in which Native Americans would congregate and grow their own tobacco. The Maduro pays tribute to Nicholas Melillo’s grandfather who was a WWII vet and enjoyed smoking broadleaf cigars from FD Graves on State St. The Charter Oak Maduro features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Nicaraguan Habano binder, and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. These medium-bodied smokes offer a great balance of flavors and strength while maintaining a nice and even burn throughout the cigar.
