Byron 1850

The Byron 1850 was created to celebrate nearly 175 years of the Byron family. The Byron 1850 uses a seamless Ecuadorian wrapper over a Peruvian binder and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Inspired by the wine industry, the Byron 1850 was aged in French oak instead of the traditionally used cedar-lined rooms like their other lines. "Cedar is to cigars as oak is to wine. The year we take to age the cigars in this process have a purpose and we hope this is appreciated in the smoke" says Nelson Alfonso, creator and head of Selected Tobaccos. Each box comes with 25 cigars and is packed in cedar lined boxes with the logo embossed on hinges and a push button clasp in the front. The top and sides of each box radiate with golden text on a dark, glossy walnut exterior finish with soft felt on the bottom of the boxes.
