Rafael Nodal never ceases to amaze us with his creativity and different ways to enhance the Aging Room brand. His newest creation is the Aging Room ‘Rare Collection’, which is intended to offer small runs based on the availability of rare and superbly well-aged tobaccos. Rafael turned to AJ Fernandez to help make his idea a reality. What makes these cigars so rare? They feature a hybrid Cuban-seed wrapper grown on Fernandez’s La Lilia farm located in Nicaragua. It also contains a little bit of Pelo d’Oro in the blend as well.
The Rare Collection line comes in three sizes: Festivo (4 ½” x 52), Scherzo (5 ½” x 55), and Vivase (6” x 60). This is one of many collaborations between Rafael Nodal and AJ Fernandez, the most popular one being the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Maestro, which was named the #1 Cigar of 2019 by Cigar Aficionado. I think we can all agree that these two together is a masterpiece.
