United States

The United States of America originates many forms of unique tobacco. Stemming down from New England to Florida, many different types of tobacco can be found right in the United States. A true Connecticut Shade wrapper is harvested in Connecticut, many forms of pipe tobacco come from Virginia (most notably burley), the wrapper of the Jacob’s Ladder by Southern Draw is a Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro, and finally, FSG or Florida Sun Grown tobacco, found in Clermont, Florida. Florida Sun Grown tobacco is featured in Corona’s own 20th Anniversary, 25th Anniversary, Army of Angel’s, FSG by Drew Estate, FSG 20 Acre Farm and Finca Sante Fe FSG by Cordoba and Morales, Corona Intensa and The American. At its peak in the early 20th century, Ybor City (near Tampa, Florida) had more than 150 cigar factories and 10,000 cigar workers who rolled more than 500 million cigars a year by hand (that’s a lot of cigars!). There’s nothing better than smoking tobacco grown in our own backyard.
