The Plasencia Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Sixto I is the same size as the original Alma Fuerte Sixto II, which is a box-pressed 6” x 60 Gordo. It is still a Nicaraguan puro but the wrapper used is a Colorado claro color that is lighter than the regular Alma Fuerte.The Plasencia family has been growing tobacco for five generations now. They own three major factories in Nicaragua and make brands for several cigar companies under contract. The Alma Fuerte Cigar represents the Plasencia's first major push to get their own brand into the market and their name known throughout the world. The Plasencia Alma Fuerte cigar is a medium-tasting beauty that is hand rolled in a Nicaraguan cigar factory and crafted with Criollo '98 tobacco from Condega, Jalapa, Esteli and Ometepe.
