Created to honor what would have been José Orlando Padrón’s 97th birthday, the Padrón Black PB-97 is one of the most exclusive and coveted releases in the company’s storied history. Produced as a one-time, PCA-exclusive run in 2023, the PB-97 pushes the Padrón profile into darker, more voluptuous territory while preserving the flawless construction, aroma, and draw that define the brand.

Handcrafted in Nicaragua using only the most select, extensively aged Nicaraguan tobaccos grown on Padrón family farms, the PB-97 is available in both Natural and Maduro wrappers, rolled only in an elegant, tapered 6¾" × 54 torpedo vitola — and unlike most Padrón releases, it is round, not box-pressed.
