Ernesto has created a cigar full of flavor and strength and is probably his most intense cigar yet. The E.P. Carrillo Pledge Apogee is a 6 1/4” x 58 vitola featuring a Havana Seed wrapper (grown in Massachusetts), an Ecuadorian binder, and Nicaraguan fillers. The Pledge was supposed to be released in March of 2020 but was pushed back 6 months due to the pandemic.

Good Cigar But The Way It Was Shipped Is Great, 11th Mar 2021

I am new to cigar smoking so I bought only 2 cigars to try them out. To me, this cigar is not as good as Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Maduro or Cuban Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure #2.
Draw is nice and easy, however, the burn was not even.
What surprised me is the way those two cigars were packaged. They were in a zipper bag with a humidity pillow. I have not received cigars packaged like that from any other cigar company.
Amazing company.
