Cuesta Rey Centenario Maduro Cigars are hand-made in the Dominican Republic under the careful supervision of Carlos Fuente Jr. Like all Fuente made cigars, the draw of a Cuesta Rey is free and easy, and the overall construction is magnificent. The dark brown Maduro wrapper has a slightly sweeter and more robust flavor.

Perfect construction. Smooth draw. Even burn. Long ash. Medium- mild from beginning to the end. Tastes and smells like a cigar should, in my opinion. No surprise gut-punch or head-spin. Not what you would call "eventful", just a very enjoyable smoke with a side of Irish Whiskey. Very attractive classic packaging. I have been smoking cigars since the days when Cubans were sold in barber shops and drug stores in Ohio.
Hard to find. They don't cost 45 cents. Limited selection of shapes/sizes. (I'm partial to box-pressed Torpedos. Totally forgivable.)
