Maduro

Maduro or “mature/ripe” in Spanish, tends to refer to darker complexion. Maduro wrappers undergo a scrupulous fermentation process to achieve varying degrees of dark brown to almost black color. Maduro wrappers are often a stronger than Natural wrappers, but with that strength comes a sweetness that wasn’t there before.
