Criollo

Criollo (cree-oy-yo) translates to “native seed” and is a historic Cuban tobacco. It can be traced back to the era when Columbus discovered the New World. Criollo is commonly grown in Nicaraguan, Mexico and Honduras. Criollo wrappers are a reddish, earthy brown and exude notes of cedar, coffee beans and baking spices.
