The La Riqueza SE 2024 is a remarkable return for this highly regarded Tatuaje blend, crafted in the classic Cazadores size—a lonsdale measuring 6 3/8" x 44 ring gauge. This limited-edition release is offered in two distinct wrapper options, both of which are dark and full of character: either Connecticut Broadleaf or Mexican San Andrés. Both variations feature a Nicaraguan binder and filler, continuing the legacy of premium Nicaraguan tobaccos that have defined La Riqueza from the beginning.
La Riqueza was originally created by Pete Johnson of Tatuaje and legendary cigarmaker José “Pepin” Garcia in 2008, and this marks the latest evolution of a brand that has evolved over time. The line debuted as the first collaboration between Johnson and Garcia to feature Connecticut Broadleaf—a tobacco Johnson had been eager to work with since the brand’s inception.
