Description

Dunbarton Tobacco & Trusts new pipe tobacco-inspired release, StillWell, is one of the more unique cigars to hit the shelves. StillWell consists of 4 cigars, all 6” x 52 Toros, that use the same wrapper and binder. The difference is that each cigar uses a different filler tobacco blend and pipe tobacco. All four sizes feature an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper and a Mexican San Andrés negro “cultivo tronto” binder. Let’s get down to the nitty gritty and talk about what makes each cigar different from the rest. The StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1 includes Black Cavendish, Golden Virginia and Burly pipe tobaccos as well as Nicaraguan leaves in the filler. The StillWell Star English No. 27 includes Burly and Turkish pipe tobaccos as well as a “generous portion” of Cypriot Latakia pressed cake and Nicaraguan leaves in the filler. The StillWell Star Bayou No. 32 includes Bright, Red Virginia and St. James Parish Perique pipe tobaccos as well as Nicaraguan leaves in the filler. The StillWell Star Navy No. 1056 includes stoved Red and Golden Virginias, a “touch of “Naval Rations,” Orientals and Latakia pipe tobaccos blended with dark air-cured black cigar leaves in the filler. The pipe tobaccos used for these cigars were blended by Jeremy Reeves, head blender of Cornell & Diehl, while the cigars are made at Fábrica de Tabacos Joya de Nicaragua S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
