Long story short Don Pepin Garcia found out way before it was completely finished and was so happy that his son had created a cigar in his honor. The My Father is a huge success and has sold countless boxes. Now in 2009 Don Pepin Garcia has released the My Father Le Bijou 1922 in honor of his father.The My Father Le Bijou uses a Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro wrapper from Pelo de Oro (Golden Hair) leaf. Pelo de Oro tobacco is seldom grown this day and age because truthfully it is very difficult to grow. The cigar smokes beautifully with a smooth draw and straight, even burn. From start to finish the cigar unleashes rich flavors of earth, cocoa, leather, cream and peppery spice.
