La Flor Dominicana and Cuban-American artist, Ruben Toledo, have come together to create a limited edition cigar called La Flor Dominicana El Museo.
La Flor Dominicana El Museo is available in boxes of 24 in one size, 6 ¾ x 52, and presented in a beautiful lacquer box with designs from Ruben Toledo on both sides of the lid. Only 2000 signed boxes are available of these stunning cigars.
So enough about the box now let me tell you about the cigars. La Flor Dominicana El Museo is a Dominican puro but the wrapper is a rare Habano Sun Grown Dominican hailing from a tiny farm in the Dominican Republic.
As for the flavor of the cigar it is unlike any other cigar I’ve tried. Coming from La Flor Dominicana I was expecting a powerhouse cigar from start to finish but it actually started off fairly tame.
The La Flor Dominicana El Museo has a complex array of flavors from an earthy, chocolate sweetness to a bold, cedar and spice qualities laced with anise. I would highly recommend this cigar if you’re looking to expand your palette or if you’re a seasoned aficionado looking to take your palette on a roller coaster.
