The Mi Barrio line is a Limited Edition cigar, to be presented four times a year - 100,000 cigars per release.
The blend of Mi Barrio cigars does not change with each release, instead a new size is introduced.
The heavy cedar boxes of Mi Barrio cigars have a painting by the Cuban artist, Edin Gutierrez on the lid. The first release has a painting of Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia and his very good friend, Orestes Espinoza, father of Erik Espinoza, of Espinoza y Ortega.
The Mi Barrio prelight is sweet and cedary. As you smoke the cigar you experience some cocoa, cedar and spicy pepper notes. The cigar is very consistent and the flavors are found throughout most of the cigar. The Mi Barrio is good all the way down to the last puff. Superior construction, no surprise since it is made by Don Pepin.
