Cuesta Rey Cabinet Selection by Carlos Fuente Jr. and the J.C. Newman Cigar Family

Cuesta-Rey Cabinet Selection cigars are from the oldest family owned cigar company in America - J.C. Newman Cigar Company. Eric and Bobby Newman run the company today in the heaart of Tampa's historical Ybor City. (You can see the huge, historical Cuesta-Rey cigar factory off Interstate 4 in Tampa.)

Today, Cuesta-Rey cigars are hand made under the supervision of Carlos Fuente Jr. in the Dominican Republic. Cuesta-Rey Cabinet Selection cigars are made with a mild blend of Dominican and Brazilian long-filler tobaccos. The cigars are offered in a an African Cameroon, Connecticut shade or broadleaf maduro wrapper.

Prior to being packed in their elegant cedar cabinets, every cigar is placed inside a special cedar aging room for 65 days. It is at this point that the various individual tobaccos of the cigar marry into one smooth compatible blend.
