4 stars title= Surprisingly Good, 8th May 2013

The taste, construction and professionalism of this stick surprised me. The draw was even and the taste was robust. The pride in this cigar was noticeable from the start. I'm buying a box!

4 stars title= Not Bad, 8th May 2013

Reviewer: Anthony Palmer

Love the shape and overall look of the cigar. The Name is very fitting. Intense spice notes but not over board. I think it was balanced pretty well. I will smoke again.

Good ash, good draw, strong but a bit harsh
Overall a 3 or 3.5

3 stars title= Not the best. Not the worst, 4th May 2013

Reviewer: James King

This cigar has a nice, oily, reddish Corojo 99 wrapper. Draw was perfect. Tons of smoke. Overall body was light medium. Taste seemed a touch flat. Short finish. Finish was a little ashy. Last third improved. Overall, a great looking cigar. Just not quite in my flavor profile.

Smoke Time: 1hr 10mins
Cold Draw: Woodsy and Nutty
Burn: Even with little touch-ups
Review:
In general, I'm not a fan of Honduran tobacco and this cigar did little to change my mind about that. However, If you enjoy a bit of spice with your smoke, you can not do much better than this.
Overall the smoke was nice and rich with vague hints of Cedar and Oak and I detected a bit of Cinnamon on the finish. Not sure that this would be my go-to cigar, but those liking a medium-bodied smoke with mild spicy flavors should take note.
Pairs With:
Beer - Heineken Lager Beer - the slightly hoppy notes of the beer will compliment the spicy sweetness of the cigar
Spirit - Lagavulin Scotch Single Malt 16 Year - The peat and smoke of this Whiskey melds with the nutty characters of the cigar well

4 stars title= Great everyday cigar, 5th May 2013

Reviewer: Paul Guereber

A cigar with a good natural tobacco taste, easy draw and burn with minimal corrections. This cigar is medium bodied with a consistent flavor profile. This is a great everyday cigar that I really enjoyed.

4 stars title= nice cigar, 5th May 2013

Reviewer: Carmine Fortunato

A well rolled, medium to full bodied cigar. Peppery with subtle hints of spice. Strong at first then mellowed out half way through. Slow burning with a consistent even ash all the way down to the end.

5 stars title= very nice cigar, 6th May 2013

Reviewer: LEONARD ABRAMOWITZ

well constructed and a very nice draw, it felt like a med to full body but had a smooth burn, overall a excellent cigar for just relaxing

Well constructed and pleasing appearance...nice peppery bite right from the start...medium to strong from first draw...smooths out in the middle...back to peppery finish...perfect draw and I mean PERFECT draw...very good 90-minute cigar

3 stars title= Good bang for your buck, 6th May 2013

Reviewer: Bryan K. Gravely

You notice the Ligero leaves in this full bodied cigar from the first draw. While not as overpowering as many of the Ligero sticks on the market today, you can't miss the tell-tale notes of spice. Experienced smokers will enjoy the intense flavor profiles, Less experienced smokers, who have yet to build up a tolerance for the higher nicotine levels inherent in Ligero leaves may be left feeling a little green.
Solid construction free from defects with a smooth, uniform wrapper and excellent draw.

4 stars title= Good cigar, well made, 6th May 2013

Reviewer: DAVID HUFFER

Had this cigar in a Belicoso shape. Very nice size cigar and well made. The cigar started out a little harsh, I thought, but mellowed as it burned down. Speaking of burn, the one I had experienced an uneven burn and had to be touched up a couple of times. This is a corojo wrapper so it will be a little on the "strong" side. The cigar gave a lot of smoke and flavor. I would reccommend this cigar for those who like a stronger cigar with lots of flavor. I would buy more of these and would share them with friends who like a full flavored cigar.

3 stars title= Name says it all, 6th May 2013

Reviewer: Brett Wendel

Thought it was spicy. Notes of leather and cedar. I was one that was unaware of the higher nicotine level as mentioned by Mr. Gravely. Definitely left me a bit green in the gills. Didn't feel the effects until the last few inches though. Couldn't finish past the last two inches. I enjoyed the flavors until then though.

4 stars title= Aztec Temples, 7th May 2013

Reviewer: Dean Terry

A nice medium to strong smoke, though more in realm of full bodied. Great construction, burns quite evenly thourgh out the smoke. A medium dark wrapper with slight oily sheen and light earthy aroma. This cigar had easy and smooth draw throughout the smoke. It is quite consistant in flavor from first light to the nub with a peppery background, wood and nutty accents. Not to be consumed quickly, but better slowly savored.

3 stars title= some like it hot, 7th May 2013

Reviewer: Ian Martin

From the moment of the pre-lit draw I knew it was going to have some spice. It was well balanced with heavy billows of smoke it got a bit too spicy and burn a bit hot in the middle there was an air pocket. over all not a bad smoke. Not for the people who want light cigars.

3 stars title= Average smoke, 9th May 2013

Reviewer: Anil Valiani

Cut: Straight
Pre-light draw: Peppery with notes of chocolate and cream
I smoked this cigar at night and it was an decent smoke. The first third of the cigar was smooth and the draw is nice and even. The hondouran tobacco fillers make this a sweet smelling smoke. The cigar itself is more on the strong side of medium. Definitely packs a punch with the ligero in there and gets more complex midway toward the end. I think this would be a great smoke if left in the humidor for a bit to age and complex with time. Perfect for an afternoon smoke.

Nice smooth wrapper with a good tobacco and woody smell. Draw was perfect. Medium to strong body. Clean burn with a nice white ash. Size and shape made for a well-crafted cigar that I'd smoke again and recommend to others.
Burn time was 1.5 hr

Cigar is very nicely constructed, smooth easy draw and burns evenly throughout with large clouds of smoke. Medium to strong cigar was slightly harsh at first but soon settled down to a rather pleasant and enjoyable smoke. A little too much spice for my taste but all in all not a bad cigar.

5 stars title= Intensa Belicoso, 12th May 2013

Reviewer: DAVID YIELDING

I enjoyed this on my patio with a couple of strong coffee in the morning with a Sunday paper. The Intensa is a well rolled, slightly smooth, dark and very pretty wrapper with no soft spots. It has kind of a sweet smell. It does draw well and it was easy to pull smoke through although it did to seem to burned on one side faster and I had to do 2 touch ups to correct the burn. I consider this to be a medium bodied cigar with a robust rich spicy, sweet nutty woody flavor. The flavor did get more intense in complexity as I got past the second half. The aroma has the same woody, spicy nutty smell, rather nice. The aftertaste is a pleasant mild flavor on the tongue this reminds me some what of a Gran Habano flavor profile, could be who makes it. To sum this one up I would recommend it to my friends is a good smoke a good price I think these what age would rather well in be even better.

4 stars title= Great medium-full body smoke, 12th May 2013

Reviewer: John Byrnes

The Intensa was a nice medium-full body smoke - more on the full side - and was even smoking throughout. It was smooth and seemed to get a bit smoother as it burned down(or, possibly I became more used to it!). Nice draw and well balanced - a little peppery. Went well with a glass of single malt!

4 stars title= Nice smooth smoke, 15th May 2013

Easy draw nice formed ash. Taste is most pleasant as is the aroma. All together and good smoke.

4 stars title= Long smoke worth the time., 19th May 2013

Reviewer: Robert Tackett

The initila flavor reminded me of a dry wood and the cigar had a smooth after taste. I noticed a straight burn and a draw the was pleasant to the tongue. The cigar continued to deliver a quality smoking experinece even to the end of the cigar with balanced flavor. It is a long smoke that is well worth the time.

4 stars title= Well put together medium smoke, 20th May 2013

Reviewer: Robert Kesten

Although I do not normally smoke medium to dark cigars I found this particular cigar to be full of flavor and a relly good smoke. The blend of spices and flavors works and although a little heavier than I normaly like this was a really ejoyable smoke.

5 stars title= Intensa Maxima!, 24th May 2013

Reviewer: David Blender

A nicely constructed cigar with no visible wrapper flaws. Straight cut and torch lit. This is one flavor packed medium strong cigar. Its a consistent smoke that provides ample pungent aromas of leathery nuttiness with some sweetness and a little bit of bite. A smooth and steady draw adds to the 60 minutes of an afternoon escape. A great complement to a well brewed cup of java!. Go ahead and give this one a try!

3 stars title= Martycigar, 26th May 2013

Reviewer: George Wynne

Nice feel and appearance. Rather loose draw but good spice from the beginning to end. This cigar does not get bitter even when you smoke it down to the very nub. It does get soft both in your teeth and hand once it gets warm. Don't get scared off by the name, this cigar barely got to medium and was an easy smoke. Good value for the price.

4 stars title= Corona Intensa Belicoso, 27th May 2013

Reviewer: Andrew Kwon

Prelight inspection shows a nice paper bag brown color. Wonderful barnyard aroma. 1st third reveals a nice leather flavor with a hint of tartness on the finish. The main theme on the 1st third was creamy. 2nd third shifts to a pepper finish. No ways a pepper bomb but its definitely there on a very long finish. Final third seems to ramp up in strength. Overall I would classify this as a med-full strength cigar. It was a pleasant smoke. Final time 1hr 40 min. I would definitely recommend picking up a stick.

3 stars title= Going back to Honduras, 28th May 2013

Reviewer: Brad Gunnell

There was a time when I headed straight for the Hondurans. This stick was my first Honduran in a couple years. This cigar was average at best.

V-cut
Paired with Ass Kisser Smoked Porter

Even burn and nice ash. The high levels of nicotine were nice, but not for the sake of flavor. The first and last third were very harsh. I made it about four draws into the final third and I put the thing out. The middle was decent enough and matched well with the beer.

3 stars title= Not the bang for your buck, 28th May 2013

Reviewer: Blake Bork

I've had this cigar only once, and I won't be buying it again.
The Pros: It has a great weight and feel to the overall cigar, little amount of vines, and well put together tip.
The Cons: Very nutty cigar, I couldn't find a great beverage pairing with this cigar to where it blended well with the nutty flavor. Throughout the whole cigar, it couldn't burn straight, even with rotating the cigar around. Continually having to light it because it went out didn't help the experience either. The ash wasn't as tight as other cigars around the same price as the Intensa. And just when I was about to the wrapper of the cigar, the burnt taste started to set in, well before most cigars I've had.
Again, not a cigar I will be purchasing again.
