With a combination of Golden-brown Connecticut-shade, Sun-ripened Maduro and Jade-green Candela wrappers, the Corona Dominican 10th Anniversary Phatt Belly Tres Capas Cigar is a ménage à trois of flavor! Besides being an absolutely beautiful cigar, these babies taste great. The mild blend of aged Dominican long-filler tobaccos and Nicaraguan binder compliment the colorful medley of wrappers.
Now rolling a big ring gauge cigar with three wrappers is no easy task...it takes about twice the time to roll and lots of extra care to keep the Candela and Connecticut wrappers in spotless condition. (It really is an art how the rollers make this cigar.) Needless to say, our production costs to make this cigar are through the roof. Nevertheless, we are keeping our prices low and value high, with boxes of 20 starting at just $69.95.
Strength: Mild to Medium
Wrapper: Tres Capas

Keep up the amazing work!, 27th Feb 2013

Last night I tried the 10th Anniversary 3 Capas Tripple Phatt for the first time and I have to say it was one of the most amazing smokes I've ever tried. You sirs (and madams) have seriously out-done yourselves with this one. A whole morning later and I can almost STILL taste that amazing dark chocolate finish. One stick of the Tripple Phatt is well worth the price of $18.... but you sell 3 per coffin.... I'm floored. From the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you thank you. This Thursday (my payday) I plan on ordering a couple more coffins and venturing out and trying some Corona Culebras and Preferidos. Keep up the amazing work!

I've smoked a lot of cigars in my time. And many of those have been the "barber pole" variety. But this is hands down one of the best cigars of any type I've had in a long time. The flavor was spot on. Medium in body, a slight sweetness to it, with a ample amount of nice, crisp tobacco flavor. There was a woody flavor that was very nice, along with some great peppery hints as well. The flavor profile did not evolve much through the first 2/3 of the stick. It was solid and consistent throughout. Only at the end did it change. The sweetness was brought out even more. At when I say sweetness, I do not mean a sugar taste. This was a more fruit taste. I could not put my finger on it, but whatever it was, it was great. As soon as I am ready to purchase a new box or two to fill in the humidors with, I will SERIOUSLY consider getting a box of these. You guys hit it out of the park here.

I've never liked the look of striated cigars but this one passed the taste test with flying colors. The draw was smooth and easy, with a semi-mild taste throughout, and it's one I would gladly smoke again. Maybe I'll just smoke it in the dark so I don't have to look at the brown and green barber pole style.
Solid Flavor, 17th May 2013

Interesting to look at, I wasn't sure what to expect from this smoke. Good construction, even burn, lost the ash earlier than I expected. Flavor was bold, but not overpowering and stayed consistent for the first 2 thirds of the stick. The last third was a bit hotter and the flavors slightly harsh, but nothing made me want to quit it. I smoked it all the way and enjoyed it all. I would like to try another one while sipping a favored rum.

I'm not much a fan of candela wrappers at all, but mixed with maduro it may just do the trick and in this cigar it has.

The flavors are well-blended, a real multidimensional smoke, well executed.

Had these yesterday at a cigar bar. Was amazed at the three different wrappers. The cigar was tightly wrapped; took over an hour or so to smoke. Perfect for the golf course. The cigar had a great burn, good draw; was medium strenght and very flavorful If ordered I would get a smaller cigar and smaller ring size unless golfing. Enjoyed it!

A dark, rich, lingering smoke with a multi-color wrapper infusing Maduro, Connecticut, and a Candela wrapper. This not only provides a feast for the visual senses but also contributes to a semisweet after taste.

It Looks great, but smokes a little better than average. It is mild with a good ash. It starts off a little grassy flavored, but does evolve slightly to a more tobacco taste. A great looking cigar that is well made, just a little mild for me.

I discovered the Corona 10th Anniversary quite by accident. It was mixed in a 10 cigar grab bag. Brands unknown before your purchase. Wow what a cigar, mild, burns well, easy draw. The triple barber pole wrapper really sets it off. I enjoyed those first 2 cigars so much that I order a box. Long Ashes.
