The tobaccos for La Aurora Preferidos are aged in oak barrels for a minimum of two years where the tobacco picks up subtle undertones of woodiness. The La Aurora Preferidos have four different, distinct wrappers. The Platinum Edition Cameroon is a mild to medium bodied, smooth smoke. The medium bodied De Luxe Maduro has one of the nicest Brazilian Maduro wrappers that I have ever tasted, while the toothy, full bodied Gold Corojo packs in the flavor with a little kick. The Sapphire Connecticut edition is the newest addition, mild and smooth with every glorious puff.
FYI…Many cigars are touted as being limited. Let me tell you just how limited the La Aurora Preferido is. There is only one roller for each size Preferido, and each of these rollers makes only 150 cigars per day. That’s it. Seven rollers make the entire Preferido supply for the world. NOW THAT IS LIMITED.
