Graycliff cigars are some of the finest and most expensive cigars in the world. Like all Graycliff cigars, they are made in Graycliff’s own private factory within the famous Five Star Graycliff resort. Nestled in the center of Nassau, Bahamas, this exquisite little factory employs only a handful of Cuban rollers. Each roller was specially selected and recruited to Graycliff by Avalino Lara, the creator of Havana’s prized Cohiba.
The Graycliff Emerald has the difficult-to-produce, high-quality candela wrapper. This light green shade of wrapper was once referred to as American Market Selection, distinguished from the brown, English Market Selection. In the new millennium, Candela has been rediscovered.
The Emerald's tobacco is the same as Graycliff Crystal's - a blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican and Brazilian tobaccos - but what a difference in taste the candela wrapper makes. The Emerald cigar is a softer and somewhat milder smoke than the full-bodied Graycliff Crystal.
