El Rico Habano
El Rico Habano was the first cigar created by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Sr., and was one of the most sought after cigars by medium to full-bodied smokers, but its production was halted due to a tobacco shortage in 1994. Presently, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. was able to secure enough premium Nicaraguan tobacco to re-introduce the El Rico Habano line. For El Rico Habano Ernesto carefully selected the long filler Nicaraguan tobacco, the rich Nicaraguan binder, and complemented those with a specially aged sun-grown wrapper from Ecuador. This blend is a rich, medium to full-bodied cigar with deep flavors of earth and spice. “The Rich One” is back and booming once again.
