When Crowned Heads was founded in 2011, Jon Huber, Mike Conder, and Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. each created their own blends. They all agreed on one of the blends and put the other two on the shelf. Well, almost 10 years later, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr’s blend is being released and they’re calling it the Four Kicks Capa Especial. These cigars are hand rolled in the Dominican Republic and feature a Nicaraguan binder, a blend of aged Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, and are finally topped off with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. These tobaccos come together to produce savory notes of dark roast coffee, spice, floral, cinnamon, and earth. The Four Kicks Capa Especial was gives a 93-rating and was ranked as the #20 cigar of 2020 from Cigar Aficionado.
