New from Gurkha, Beast

Gurkha cigars are fast becoming one of the most sought after brands in the cigar industry.
They use only the finest tobaccos and age their cigars to perfection no matter what the demand and this guarantees outstanding cigars before they are shipped, but it also means many of Gurkha’s cigars are rare.  Beast, the newest cigar from Gurkha, is one of those cigars - a special limited edition that is restricted to a production of 1,000 boxes per year, which is due to the time it takes to grow and age the rare tobaccos that comprise the cigar. 

One of the first things I noticed about Beast was the extremely rich and dark looking wrapper.  This aged Costa Rican Maduro wrapper lends the cigar its unique flavor.  Medium to full-bodied, Beast is masterfully blended with a Nicaraguan binder, and an intriguing mix of Honduran, Dominican, and Colombian tobaccos for the filler. 

Beast is, well . . . a beast, a large cigar which is perfect for the blend.  This large format has a perfect draw a great burn and allows for a multitude of flavors to enjoy at every puff.  Full flavored, it is rich, hearty, but never over-powering, and has a complex earthy taste with a subtle hint of coffee.  It’s definitely a man’s cigar and rare, so if you want a chance to tame this Beast, now is the time.
