Week 5 Showdown
Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 vs. Perdomo Habano Corojo
This week in the Sunday Showdown, we bring you 2 cigars that have diversified the cigar portfolios for each company. First up we feature the Rocky Patel Vintage 1999, this is the 1st mild cigar created by Rocky Patel. The Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 features a Connecticut shade wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The cigar starts off as a mild, cedary and changes in complexion to a smooth, medium bodied smoke. The Rocky Patel factory is based in Honduras and has been producing several different cigars that have all received high marks.
Nick Perdomo has produced countless lines and with consistency that very few companies can contend with. The Perdomo Habano Corojo is a fantastic blend that incorporates 3 different tobaccos from the 3 major growing regions of Nicaragua: Condega, Esteli and Jalapa. All the hard work put into this cigar really paid off, it becomes a complex, medium bodied smoke. Both of these cigars are the product of extensive hard work and deliberation. Who do you represent Rocky or Perdomo? Snag up one of these Sunday Showdowns and you be the judge.
