Don Tomas Candela Cigars

A NEW "OLD" BRAND! When you smoke a Don Tomas Candela, you are taken back to an era when “Green was King”.  In the 60’s nearly every cigar smoked in the U.S. was made with a green Candela wrapper.  And now, nearly forty years later, Don Tomas Candela has been reintroduced on a limited basis. The Candela wrapper used on this cigar is an amazing 18 years old.  U.S. cigar hasn’t rolled candela cigars since the early 80’s and there were four bales of Candela wrapper waiting patiently to be resurrected.  The flavor of Candela is very soft and mild.  In respect to its 60’s heritage, retro Don Tomas bands and boxes were brought out of the storerooms and used just for the Candelas.   Country:  Honduras Wrapper: Honduras Binder: Honduras Filler: Columbia, Mexico, Dom.
