SUNDAY SHOWDOWN
We are going to put two cigars up to the challenge every week to see who is the champion of the Sunday Showdown. From now to the end of the year we will pair up cigars for you to do your own mini tasting, The battle sampler will be 5 cigars from each contender. After you referee your own battle, you can send us your comments and vote via e mail. The top 2 cigars will go head to head during the week of the superbowl. We will have a killer special for the final battle.

This week in the Sunday Showdown, we pit two Preferidos that have made an impact in the cigar industry, The La Aurora Preferido Cameroon and The Corona Gold Preferido Natural. The Preferido is one of the most difficult sizes to construct and needs the hands of a true cigar artisan to produce a consistent and easy smoking cigar. La Aurora has been producing cigars in the Dominican Republic since 1903 and the Preferido was one of the original sizes they produced. The La Aurora Preferido Cameroon is a medium bodied cigar that incorporates a Dominican blend of tobaccos for the binder and filler. The Corona Gold Preferido Natural is one of the newest sizes of our extensive Corona Gold series.
