| Macanudo Gold Label Cigars |

Macanudo Gold Label
The Macanudo line of cigars is known for its smoothness and consistency, while at the same time offering different tastes to please every palate. The newest Macanudo cigar, Macanudo Gold Label, uses rare golden Connecticut Shade wrapper leaves to create a distinctive, new taste for premium cigar smokers.
Handcrafted with golden wrapper leaves from the first and second primings of Macanudo's specially grown Connecticut Shade crop, Macanudo Gold Label cigars are blessed with a natural sweetness. The wrappers are elegantly thin, yet remarkably supple with fine veins. Their texture is especially smooth, without a hint of graininess. "Capa Especial" is the Spanish term for this wrapper of uncommon taste which, when combined with filler and binder tobacco of complementary character, results in a cigar that lives up to the tradition of quality that is Macanudo.

Macanudo Robust
Macanudo Robust was introduced with immediate success in 1998.
The finished cigar was the culmination of many attempts over a period of four years to develop what many skeptics regarded as an unreachable goal: a robust yet smooth-tasting cigar.
The robustness of Macanudo Robust comes from a blend of the richest Dominican Piloto Cubano tobaccos and a unique Havana-seed binder grown in the fertile Connecticut River Valley especially for this cigar.
The smoothness of Macanudo Robust comes from the darkest and most thoroughly aged of all Connecticut Shade wrappers.
The result is a deeper dimension of true cigar taste that embodies all of the smoothness that has always distinguished the leading premium brand.

Macanudo Vintage 2000
Tobacco growers look for a special crop every year that is created by the perfect balance of sunshine and rainfall. This combination of a grower’s skill and knowledge and the kindness of nature produces a crop that has extraordinary flavor and texture. These rare crops happen only several times a decade and are referred to as bumper crops. The year 2000 is the sixth time in 27 years that General Cigar Company has grown a bumper crop worthy of being used in their Macanudo Vintage line. The Macanudo Vintage 2000 is rolled with a 2000 bumper crop Connecticut leaf that is carefully selected and then undergoes an exacting curing process before being aged for five years. After the tobacco is aged, only six to ten percent of the crop is judged good enough to be rolled into the Macanudo Vintage. This amazing process gives the cigar a classic flavor, while increasing its complexity and fullness without any increase in strength. Mild and smooth, the Macanudo Vintage 2000 has toasty flavors of cedar, a mild undercurrent of light roasted coffee and a subtle nuttiness all complemented by a long, creamy finish that is soft as silk. The Macanudo Vintage 2000 is an example of how an excellent crop can take an amazing classic and make it legendary.

Montecristo Classic
Taking a classic and well-loved cigar and changing it can be a daunting task. But Jose Seijas, the man who runs Tabacalera de Garcia (one of the largest factories on the planet), took the mission. He set forth the new blend: only the highest grade, hand-selected, perfectly aged Connecticut shade wrapper, rolled around the finest Dominican binder and filler. This blend became a success as much as its Cuban counterpart. Jose Seijas had managed to improve upon a classic. Mild to medium in body, the Montecristo Classic is smooth and creamy with a subtle spice with a creamy milk undertone. Seijas’ expert craftsmanship has created a cigar for the ages that will be sought after for generations.

Montecristo Platinum
The Montecristo brand is well known on both sides of the embargo and the most unique of the Dominican produced Monte’s is the Montecristo Platinum. What makes the Platinum unique is the wrapper, a Habana 2000 seed grown in the rich soil of the San Andres Valley in Mexico. The filler is a blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Peruvian tobacco with a Nicaraguan binder. It seems the solid blend of filler and binder give Platinum its earthy core, and the wrapper gives it a mellow and pleasant extra special wood spice. Mild to medium bodied on the medium side, the flavor is there without overpowering the pallet making the Platinum an incredibly constructed smoke that performs famously.
