Julio Eiroa blended the new Camacho Select to his specifications and when his son Christian disagreed with the blend a bet was soon made between the two. The Camacho Select is a medium-bodied cigar that was developed with a specially grown Honduran Cameroon Wrapper. The Wrapper took years to develop and grow and makes the Camacho Select the amazing cigar it is. Camacho Select is a very deep and complex cigar. The cigar starts off very mellow and builds in flavors of earth and cashews with a subtle creaminess. Cameroon is a very difficult leaf to balance. It can either overpower the binder and filler or its flavors can be lost in a more powerful binder and filler.
